Frost Cam

Dew Claw Kennel

A beautiful day to be out on the trails.

A wonderful run with the dogs today. It was a crisp -20 F, great training weather. And perfect weather to test out our water-shock-frost-proof camera; although Dan is probably right when he says ‘resistant’ not ‘proof’. In spite of that, Dan managed to take some really nice shots today to share with y’all.

After a day outside at these temps is also the perfect time to thank the folks at Intuition for being a part of Team Dew Claw. We count on the Mukluk liners when we area outside for such long times and such cold temps. Dew Claw tested on multiple Yukon Quest and Iditarod races, we know they work. (yes we both have all our toes with no frostbite injuries).

So without further ado ~ Dan’s photos of our training run today; 26 dogs, 2 mushers, -20F, a beautiful day.

Heading out for the day.

OK, I actually took this a few days ago; but I am sure it is a good representation of what Whiskey and Guppy do all day while we are gone.
