The little buggers, as they have affectionately come to be known, were born Aug 31. Guppy (Dew Claw) was the happy mama. The proud papa is a beautiful boy named Elias (R Brooks). Guppy ran in lead in the race team until she suffered a broken ankle, now recovered but not able to race she has become a part time mom and full time house pet. Elias is a powerhouse in our race squad.
I know that many of you have been waiting patiently for names…
So let me introduce to you, the adorable, wonderful, lovable, Little Buggers!
The Buggers continue to grow and amuse us daily. Although due to some noise issues (once the found their little voices they put them to good use, loudly, on a very regular basis) and better mobility (the house pen could not longer hold back their curiously) they have moved to the outside puppy pen. We continue to add photos to the online Guppy’s Puppies album, please check in to see the little buggers as they master climbing out of and into the puppy house. As well as some puppy play time shots. The flip top roof on the big puppy house makes for easy access when we want to take photos or get some quality play / snuggle time.
I would have to say that I love Roach. I never thought I would see the day that there was a sled dog named Roach. 🙂 Judi Roach, Sidney, NE

Awww… they’re sooooooo cute! I love Aphid, and even though she’s the runt I think she’ll be a really strong sled dog when she grows up. 😀

Great photos! I love the names too! I watched the Iditarod for the first time last year via the Ultimate Insider and I have to say that following the teams throughout the year has been even more amazing. I have been able to see first hand thanks to blogs and Facebook the hard work and dedication it takes in creating a team. I am nothing less than utterly inspired. Thanks for sharing your photos and your stories on the trail.
